The complete beginner is as welcome as the experienced driver on these relaxed and informal experiences. Depending on your experience, you’ll find a wide variety of topics are covered, providing a broad appreciation of the carriage driving experience. Some time may be spent discussing different types of vehicles and their construction, the harness, and all methods of rein handling using a rein-machine. For those who would like to see Dartmoor from a horse and carriage, we offer drives through some really spectacular scenery, along quiet lanes and tracks that are seldom found by visitors to the area. The more experienced driver can enjoy singles, pairs, tandem or team, including picnic drives or visits to a pub in the heart of Dartmoor.
